“State of the Industry” Meeting to be Broadcast on Facebook Live

The 2020 NPC Summer Meeting will be held as a one day, virtual event on June 25. Summer Meeting VIRTUAL is a free event for all members of the potato industry. But, you MUST PRE-REGISTER to attend. Join from anywhere to connect with the industry, get updates on key issues and to be a part of the conversation.

 This one-day event will include:

  • A keynote on The State of the Industry and COVID-19 Relief Efforts
  • Committee Meetings
  • Board of Directors Meeting
  • Chats and Q&A

As part of NPC’s 2020 Summer Meeting VIRTUAL event on June 25, NPC President Britt Raybould, CEO Kam Quarles, and COO Mike Wenkel will present the “State of the Industry and COVID-19 Response” to update growers and industry supporters on actions taken on the federal level to support the industry during these unprecedented times. The presentation will be open to the public via Facebook Live and available through NPC’s Facebook page, marking the first time an NPC meeting will be broadcast live.

  • The “State of the Industry” will also include reports by Mark Klompien, CEO of United Potato Growers of America, Matt Lantz, Vice President of Global Access, Bryant Christie Inc., Blair Richardson, CEO of Potatoes USA, and John Toaspern, Chief Marketing Officer of Potatoes USA.
  • Committee meetings will be available to those in the industry who have pre-registered to attend. Register here and join from anywhere in order to connect with the industry, get updates on key issues, and be a part of the conversation. Registration is open until June 22.
